Introducing Prividium Commander: the Money20/20 USA keynote

Alex Gluchowski, CEO and co-founder of Matter Labs, introduces Prividium Commander in his keynote at Money20/20 USA. He explains how each digital asset initiative turns into a separate software project, which slows many of them down, and shows how Commander brings identity, policies, enforcement and reporting into one platform that works with an institution’s existing tools, custody and chains.

  • Why each digital asset initiative tends to become a separate software project.
  • How Prividium Commander connects users, groups and permissions from the institution’s own directory.
  • How every transaction and read request is checked against the policies the institution sets.
  • How Commander works alongside existing custody providers, applications and EVM chains, or on top of public chains.

Good morning. I’m very excited to be here and talk about interesting announcements that you’re gonna make. And, um, as you are here on the last day of Money20/20, you probably have noticed how many blockchain and digital asset companies are present at the conference. And you can imagine how much effort is being poured into this space and into the innovations that are happening there.

And so I want to take you mentally to this, enter this new world of, um, tokenization, ubiquitous tokenization of every asset, um, in existence and connecting of all the systems together. What will you reinvent? What is the service or product of your institution that you will do differently and you will make more interesting, more appealing to your customers? And as you think about it, you probably are thinking about the unique strength, unique, um, core competencies of your institution and your understanding of the customers, um, and whatever products you already have, how you can transform them.

You’re probably not thinking about the operational complexity of actually bringing this into production. Um, because every digital asset initiative that is being rolled out today actually turns into a completely separate, um, software project, turning your institution into a system integrator of various different stacks and, um, uh, bringing the complexity of implementing all of the compliance, all of the controls, all of the, um, rules that your institution has to run around this, the core product, the core asset, the core service that you’re going to bring. Uh, and this is actually what’s slowing down a lot of the initiatives. According to our experience, we’ve been working with institutions now for over two years, uh, bringing, helping bring the new initiatives around digital assets into production. And this is what we learn.

And so today, I’m really excited to present a solution to this, uh, our new product called Prividium Commander, which is the control plane for your digital asset, for your institution. And let me show you what that is. Um. Is there a video?

So Commander is one platform that brings all of your institutional control in one place. And this is what this change is going to feel like. Instead of assembling the individual components of the stack yourself and wasting the time of your best engineers on this digital plumbing, uh, you can focus on, on the actual product, and you get an easy-to-use interfaces, uh, with all of the operational tools in one platform, with a single dashboard and a single simple set of APIs, uh, that gives you everything you need.

You apply your policies. You start by connecting your users and your, uh, institutional directory of, of groups and permissions. You proceed to add policies, and then every single request, whether a transaction or a reading request, uh, by various participants of, of your ecosystem is going to be checked against all of these policies and strictly enforced. You’re gonna get the, um, um, very detailed explanation of what happens deep inside in both operational activity for your operational team, for the auditors, for regulators with, and also for your customers, with exact understanding what is happening with data, insights around the stats, the performance metrics, uh, and, uh.

It works with your existing tools. So it works with any custody provider you have. You connect your existing applications, you may connect your existing EVM chain or even put it on top of the public chains. Uh, everything is setting up the foundation for the service that you can reuse when you have to build your, your next service and your next product. So you don’t have to waste this time. And you can actually focus on what sets your institution apart and what makes you a great competitive, innovative force in this digital asset world.
