Introducing Prividium Commander: your digital assets control plane
Today we’re introducing Prividium Commander, the control plane for institutions building digital asset businesses. Commander brings the tools teams need to run financial services into one product, under their institution’s own rules and connected to the systems they already use. It makes services simpler to launch and operate, so institutions can bring products to customers faster and put more of their expertise into what makes those products valuable.

1. Operational complexity holds digital asset businesses back
Over two years of working with leading financial institutions, we have seen how much work sits between a successful pilot and a service the whole organization can use. A small team can make a pilot work with improvised tools. Production needs controls that meet the institution’s operating, security and audit requirements.
For a tokenized deposit service, teams must control who can issue assets and authorize transfers, connect users and applications, and keep records for review. They must integrate these capabilities with existing systems and put the implementation through risk, compliance and security approvals.
When institutions build these tools themselves, each new service brings another round of engineering, integration and review. They end up running a software project around every financial product.
2. Your users, systems and rules. One operating platform.
Commander helps institutions bring digital asset services to market faster and makes them simpler to run. Built-in token tools and administration interfaces reduce what developers need to create before launch, giving them more time to build the financial application itself.
Teams can bring their existing users and applications into the service without creating a parallel set of systems to manage. Commander connects to user management systems such as Okta and keeps accounts in sync, so staff can continue to be managed in one place. APIs let internal applications use the service within existing business workflows.
Commander gives authorized teams a simple dashboard for putting their policies into effect.
Operations and risk teams can investigate activity directly in Commander. Transaction status and logs help them understand what happened, including why a request was refused. Data insights help them see how the service is being used.
Commander’s workflows and webhooks reduce the manual work needed to keep connected systems up to date. When a transfer completes, for example, the payments application can automatically update the status shown to the customer.
3. The Commander difference: precise control over the applications you already run
Commander lets institutions upgrade how they run digital assets on public chains or existing private blockchains (for example, a Hyperledger Besu). They can add controls, integrations and workflows to supported infrastructure they already use, keeping their existing applications and systems in place.
For example, institutions using multiple supported custody providers can manage application access in one place with Commander. Each provider retains its own signing and transaction controls. Teams can change the shared application permissions once, without recreating them in each provider’s system or rewriting their financial contracts.
If the institution later wants to upgrade the blockchain itself, it can move to Prividium Ledger, our high-performance ZK blockchain for private financial applications, keeping Commander and the integrations already built.
4. Commander opens Prividium and ZKsync to every institution
Until now, Prividium could only serve institutions looking for a new blockchain. Commander opens the platform to every digital asset business.
Banks, asset managers, exchanges and clearing houses all need to control their operations, connect to existing systems and understand what is happening. Commander meets those needs on infrastructure they already run. That gives ZKsync an addressable market as broad as institutional finance itself. Customers can start with Commander and adopt more of Prividium at their own pace.
Connecting these businesses is Prividium’s next chapter, with major implications for ZKsync’s economics. More details will follow soon.
5. Finance’s next chapter
The next era of finance belongs to the institutions that are first to turn their knowledge of customers and markets into new digital asset services.
Commander makes it simpler to bring each institution’s vision of financial services to life. Its controls and integrations let teams run those services on existing systems, under the institution’s own operating rules. With the tools to launch and operate those services in one product, institutions can start serving customers and building new sources of revenue sooner.
This is the future we are building with Prividium: digital assets, on your terms.
